Testing my H5, I think it should be complete. Getting different colour screens every time, any thoughts? Perhaps ram?

@Steve have you got a link in the clock chip socket?

Also I had trouble with mine being different colours all the time and it was due to R/W on the shifter not being a good contact, so had to fit a bodge wire between it and R/W on one of the option sockets. Might be worth a look perhaps?

@Steve you'll need to jumper the floppy to get that bit to work.

No reset switch?

And do you mean white border with black foreground or all black? If all black its something to do with the shifter probably.

@PhilC no reset switch. I made my own little copper jumpers on the a/b select. Yeah full black no border. But it is getting a HV sync. I'll check the shifter as you suggested.

I checked the continuity on the RW line and it seems fine. Tested it out again and I'm getting different colour screens and borders. Seems different on every boot.

@Steve Take the CPU out and with the H5 powered check that all the data and address lines have +5v pull-ups. The R/W line for me wasn't pulling up to 5v on the shifter, just to around 1.5v, again with the shifter out also check that you've got +5v on R/W and the data lines.
