Floppy Stops working with megafile connected.

I'm actually doing the advanced repair, not the single resistor line. But thank you, i'm about to start work on it.

What advanced repair ? adding buffer chips like on the STE ? if so, actually that wouldn't fix the issue (but ironically might help to get it working)

the one linked in the thread you posted earlier, where you put a 10k 9 pin sip on the 1772

since the previous replier mentioned the old repair that lifts up legs. I'd rather not be lifting legs and stuff.

i placed the resistor and such> but now the floppy light flashes rapidly it access drive then doesnt read it

Might need the 1772 fixes as well then.

i guess i will have to send it off to someone or just bin it

though i probably broke the 1772

I think that the 1772 is dead
because i removed the resistor and same thing.
