Did you test any of the other A200's with the original PSU?
I have A2000 with an original PSU with a working tick signal, I know this because I am using the Commodore Amber scandoubler/flickerfixer card that requires a tick signal to be flicker free :) but TF536 doesn't run.

Got both! Have the original PSU providing the tick signal, and tried with ATX PSU and JP300 enabled. Same either way around.
