Another reflow this time with my old Maplin flux, the Chipquick stuff i bought to do this I don't get on with; its the thin runny version I prefer the sticky thicker stuff, another lesson learnt.
It now detects 64MB between 4000000 - 43FFFFFF.
It checks fine if I do a manual check on that range but the option to 'check detected fastram' tries to check 7F000000 - 7F200000 and stops saying shadow memory detected. Is this expected behaviour?
Running Amiga testkit now and its happily testing all the memory so far on the third loop.
Do you think I am all OK now?

EDIT: as support goes this was pretty easy. You weren't getting fixated on replacing chips before we figured out what was wrong. Consider donating to DiagROM .. worth its weight in Gold.
