If the writing looks too clean then its not a real 50 in my experience.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Amazing that the nuts design of the 330/536 will allow those chips to run at all at 50Mhz.

The 330 was way more tolerant though. But very very few 33s run at 50 on the 536, in fact I have switched now to RC40Cs which seem to do a lot better.

This is what I don't understand.

Is it that CD32 is more tolerant than A500?

Yup my cpu is fake as well. My "50Mhz" is 100% reprint as it was extremely easy to remove markings. But can't read what it was before.
Non of my 33Mhz or 40Mhz manage to be stable on TF536

Quest for 50Mhz capable cpu continues :)

PS
Most of them do work stable on TF330!

Im a bit confused about the 330 vs 536 thing...

Mostly because not only is it the same verilog code in both boards but 66% of the traces are identical. Its a literal copy and paste job.

Strange.

Arek, You managed to buy a CPU with non-existing mask...

Guys, don't worry too much about these fakes, it doesn't matter whats printed on it, only does it work @50Mhz or not matters... 🤔

Never checked, mask
It is not that I wasn't aware that it was fake when I was buying it. It was too cheap to be true ;)
