Yes, we're using the H750 in some of our products...a bit pricier but still pretty low cost for the performance!

What is main advantage of H series?

The main one is speed - the H7 can clock up to 480MHz compared to 216MHz for F7.

Also, some H7 parts also have a Cortex M4 core as well as the M7 core.

There are also some options for (value line) parts with very little internal Flash but lots of internal RAM & the ability to execute code from external serial memory - the H750 has 128k Flash but 1M RAM for example & that makes the higher performance available at a much lower price for some applications.

The newer ADCs are also giving much greater resolution (14 bit compared to 12 bit IIRC) even at high sample rates.

There is far more than that in the mix as well, but that should give you some indication I hope.

Yes, we've used the earlier STM32 F1/2/4 parts before but the price of the value line for H7 is much more competitive.

It should have the raw processing to handle pretty much anything (I'm thinking of USB host interface for keyboard, mouse, even Ethernet & pen drive & possibly even SD Card interface may be possible here). 8-)

If only I had the time to tackle something like that... :(

Ok. I managed to get keyboard presses to work, but still depress doesn't work. And I need reset routine to work as well.

Is there a software which would help keyboard testing?

The diagnostic cart has a keyboard test in it I believe.
