I managed to buy 10 pullers a while ago from ebay.. gave my last (except that one I am using) to TF! :)

You can get 10-packs of these from Mouser, Farnell or Digikey. It doesn't seem that they have them in stock though.

Anyone have any luck in finding something? Or made some ghetto tool to do the job.
I hopefully soon will need to extract a PGA and I don't want to fudge it up! Not bothered marking the socket so if small blades screwdrivers will do the job I will try that.
Probably getting some forced unpaid leave soon so will have time to replicate a tool from metal/plastic!

Sharp smd tweezers work fine, they are tapered and will naturally miss the pins if you push them in square.

Just make sure the tweezers are decent quality or your bend it.
I used a mobile phone spudger tool set I got from aliexpress which worked for me in removing an 040.
