@PaulJ No idea :( The assembly place has several other projects still outstanding as well  I have not heard anything from them for the past few weeks. I am looking for other assembly places currently for future projects as the waiting time is just getting ridiculous lately.

They got 5 H4's to build, 3 of have people waiting on them. The other 2 are for me :)

I am stuck waiting on the alt-ram boards for flashyclock as well..

I think the colour scheme has a nice UK feel to it...
So do I - go Big Blue! (University of Kentucky Wildcats)! :)

Whilst moving the MAX238.. I noticed the capacitor is actually in the way in between the two chips

I also noticed the jumper links for FlashClock are actually obstructed by the sockets as well

I think a lot of these resistors should have been the smaller 1/8watt jobbies as well.

Anyway, now to see if I have some 28 & 24 pin sockets...

The cap near the 238 isn't as bad if you fit sockets but I did trim the sockets slightly.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

I cannot find any sockets :(, so the capacitors are coming out :) I found the ones for the ACIA chips.. so not worth doing a order just for 5 sockets.

I eventually used SiL sockets for the Flashy Clock socket

Yep smaller resistors work well, they just fit. May be 0805's in the future for caps and resistors :)

Yeah, but I'm not going to do all those changes unless there is a likelihood of another run of the boards :)

Are we going to see a newly born H4 this week? :)

Will it be @exxos or will it be @rubber_jonnie :hide:
