They are these ones...

I have started the BOM, Will list mouser part numbers and also parts which are in my store.

SMT GLUE & MMU will be in my store at some point also.

Phew, managed to sneek my order in before everything is sold out :)

Exxos: is combined shipping with sockets etc from your store something we should aim for? Or does the sheer size of the boards prevent that anyway?

You can order stuff from my store along with the board, but of course store items will be shipped with the board ***... The boxes I plan to get custom made for shipping, so there will be a bit of room in the box for other items (but not large items such as floppy drives or PSUs etc) .

*** Postage costs for items ordered from the store will of course be deducted from the shipping cost of the motherboard.

If something does go out of stock, then give me a shout, there's loads of connectors which haven't been added to the main stock list yet for example.

Its a huge project... STF at its core yes.. but its had huge amount of fixes and tweaks..

Check out the "start"

https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... ?f=77&t=23

https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... ?f=77&t=14

Then like I said a few posts up, you would have to read the entire remake section over the past year to understand all the changes it has had. Pretty much every part of the STF has been re-designed and various tweaks, fixes & optimizations applied.

EDIT:

I think a lot of people don't understand about the countless issues on the ST series. Not only is "age" a factor, but there has been serious bugs in the hardware since day 1, DMA for example. All which has been learnt over the years has been turned into fixes for the remake board.

But it gets worse for developers like myself as every PCB revision has its own issues. But even 2 otherwise identical motherboards can have different issues. Developing hardware is a nightmare to the point its just easier to stop spending time debugging crap motherboards all the time, and spend the time in developing a new motherboard with all the fixes from new.
