I didn't get it either. I like fixing them :)
A kludge is a workaround or quick-and-dirty solution that is clumsy, inelegant, inefficient, difficult to extend and hard to maintain.

My lack of focus:

Well... i do understand that, however there are so much A500's around..like a sand on the beach. Thanks to DIY Megachip upgrade available - there is no difference between A500 & A500+ anymore, beside of that - there are brand new A500+ A1k pcbs, so why fiddling around with these dead pcbs? That is something that i can't understand...

I just dont like to see them die.
The 500+ is a lot easier and cleaner to make 2mb than the megachip route and also has ECS Denise, it's a nicer machine dammit! :)

Anyhow I just find them therapeutic to fix and it gives me pleasure to release them back out as working machines.
