Thanks.
In coming days I am going to share audio samples recorded from the new sound cartridge output.

Looking at this previous post viewtopic.php?p=68160#p68160 some trackers were mentioned but I have not been able to find any of them :(
Anyone know where to download one from which will work from floppy ?
EDIT: Found http://www.atarimania.com/utility-atari ... 25173.html
So far it does not like medium resolution or TOS206  And I cannot use the keys for the mouse
And how the heck are you supposed to load something

Re: UbiSoft MV16
What "L MODULE" BUTTON ?!
Control and L does not do anything at all.
It's not very user-friendly is it
EDIT:
Seems I have to click the down arrow on the thing next to which looks like a floppy. Only problem is pressing the LOAD button the drive light up and then nothing happens
Guess I will just look for some different software which isn't demented then

This one I cannot seem to see anywhere changing the output to anything at all really.

Noise tracker 1.5 says it supports MV16... So will give that one a try.
EDIT:
Yep this one works! Yep the sound quality of trackers on the ST sounds as bad as I remember it to be  Is not actually that bad through the cartridge though I think. Definitely need some tone controls or something on it tho
EDIT2:
I can hear the floppy drive through the audio. Someone fell victim same as I did with the audio circuit on the H5
EDIT3:
Noise tracker fails to play dreamland, It crashes on the third pattern
no woman is somehow playing in slow-mo
I'll give it castle master, bit easier for it  Seems not to bad really :D
EDIT4:
EDIT5:
I think replay_15 might be using a higher sample playback frequency as it sounds better

Hope it helps.
This is the schematic I have implemented.
It improves some features.

Re: UbiSoft MV16
Cool thanks. Looks like you got some smoothing and filtering going on in there. That's one thing I was thinking to try on my board.kinmami wrote: 20 Apr 2023 07:09 Hope it helps.

I'd be interested in buying a fully built one from you to play about with :)

Re: UbiSoft MV16
Well, I wasn't familiar with this particular piece of software so I
downloaded and tried it on my Mega STe.
In low res or med res, I couldn't get it to run at all. It gets so far
then has some kind of message about running/loading something
or the other but never progresses.
Key presses don't do anything and even <control><alt><delete>
wouldn't reset it. I had to either power off/on or use the physical
reset button.
Pass I think.
