4MB Upgrade in 520STfm C070523 001 Rev D

Hi,

I have a stock 520STfm with 512K. I started doing the 4MB upgrade, following the instructions for this particular model. However, when it came time to disable the RAM for testing, I kind of got lost. After searching, re-reading, etc, I have still come up empty.

I have two questions -

What do I do to disable the RAM so I can test?
What do I remove/modify afterward to make the change perm?
