Yes PCBs came a couple days ago, just not got time to make any. Though id prefer feedback from the 5V ones first, before I start making up anymore in case someone runs into a problem.

I have been running the Trudie v5.2 5V version for some time and have had no issues. Its so nice with the byte swap to just put the FC card in and out of the ST / PC and transfer files.

In addition I did not need to do the pull-ups it seems to be working fine for me without on my H5. As @exxos mentioned previously though you will have to see if you need them.

Will this fit in a 520/1040 STE?

I did look but wasn't sure?

Hey Exxos,

Thanks for the reply - appreciated..

Oh well, going to have to keep looking for an IDE CF interface for my 1040STE then..

Cheers,

@exxos Sorry to bother you...but with my Trudie beta having arrived, I'm wondering which board to fit it in.

I have the H5C1 (which arrived last week) or my original H4 board as the prime candidates.

H4 is currently sporting a TF536 (still to have the DMA bodge board fitted to use the ACSI port) but I was planning to move the TF536 into the H5 once it's working.
Then I read the comments about 8MHz systems...

My follow up question is how do I get the LED board? Please...

TIA

Cannot make that choice for you :)

I don't know where that even got left.. I certainly never did a install page which is a bit more of a issue :)

These are the only images I can find.. I can't even remember after all this time how it was fitted :(

I don't think the keyboard PCB would lay flat so the LED board would have to go on the back of the keyboard instead.. but I just couldn't be bothered to mess around with it anymore.

No, obviously not  I was hoping one of your other Trudie (ab)users might have tried them with an accelerated H4/H5...possibly not...

Ah, OK - no biggie...I'll just solder the blob for 'normal LED operation for now...and if anything comes to light in the future, I can remove it & fit in the board at that point.
