Just to answer and address some rude comments i've had recently. I'm aware of the chip ram speed on the 4060. I apologise that i've not addressed it to date.

Its not a simple fix like on the 1260 because it has more knock on effects. I will eventually fix it. I''ve other projects i'm working on for friends and my day job has ramped up dramatically in the last year since my boss moved back to India and left me running a large team in Glasgow. My day job is increasing in scope and responsibility recently and unless I quit its unlikely to get better. At almost 50 its not something i can just simply do. I also need to have some fun in these projects or i'll just burn out.

So many things competing for my time. Please be patient. If you are extremely unhappy with your 4060 contact the builder and we can arrange a return.

We truly appreciate everything you do for the Amiga community.

The test space must be huge, the base models (A3000, A3000T, A4000, A4000T), then different motherboard versions, different revisions of custom chips (Buster, DMAC, Ramsey etc.) then different configurations of Zorro cards (Zorro II PIO/DMA, Zorro III PIO/DMA), then motherboard modifications such as PIO2, ROMY. Different Kickstart versions, different WB versions. #mindexplodes

If there is anything we the users can do (other than shut up and let you work) then feel free to push down actions but I imagine you have everything you need (except time). But in the unlikely event you need anyone to test a configuration you don't have, just ask us.

Hi,

I have a TF4060 rev5b, firmware 2025-02-10 (1c48879) at 50 MHz
A3000D rev9.2, with Buster 11, Ramsey 04 / SDMAC 02, SCSI WD33C93A
AmigaOS3.2 with Mu680x0Libs.lha used to install cpu library and MMU.

I tried a Renkforce 1391543, mSATA to IDE adapter with Marvell 88SA8052 chip, but this is not recognized by the TF4060, probably since not supporting 'TRUE IDE'.

With a 'Peak' CF card of 4Gb with PFS3, I reach 4.1 Mb/s (vs. 2.1 Mb/s via internal SCSI adapter with ZuluSCSI Blaster).

here is a major upgrade for the TF4060 fw. Currently spamming the serial port with debug info so its slow booting.

tf4060r5_2026-11-04_667a6e7.zip
(626.25 KiB) Downloaded 2 times

Highlights are

A New A314 Integration via the PI.
Chipmem write speed at 7Mb/s
Major rewrite for the DMA system
Clock speeds up to 109Mhz.
ehide updated to 1.4

Also a project to help people get their pi's up and running is here. It provides a web interface for flashing the firmwares, tracks your versions, allows you to transfer files to the pi0: share folder.

https://github.com/terriblefire/tfpi

There majority of the alpha testing support is being done via discord. Link to the TF discord is in that repo's readme.
