Cool. Looking forward to it. Perfect timing too. I just received my latest eBay purchase, an Extron RGB to HDMI 300 A scaler. Now I can see all the BIOS resolutions perfectly from my capture card!agranlund wrote: 13 Oct 2026 12:11 I’ll package the latest stuff tonight. Better to wait for that as it fixes some stuff I broke in the previous release :)

Re: Raven. A homemade Atari-like computer
I like to use FAT32 partitions for Mint and MagiC but it always ends up a bit of a hassle not being able to access those from TOS - and I boot into plain TOS more often than the others.
Looking around I wasn't able to find anything already available so here is a work in progress:
(This isn't strictly Raven specific and should work fine as an auto folder TSR for any Atari)
drives G: and H: are FAT32 partitions:
tada!

@agranlund
The 5426 finally arrived and makes the Raven more responsive, but I’ve run into a problem I can’t seem to solve: games like Doom, Scumm-based titles, and Castaway—which run at 320x200—just show a black screen. I’m unable to adjust the resolution settings for this mode using VMG.PRG (something I can do easily on the ET4000), because all the parameters I have are incorrect.

Cool. I presume the 1 GiB limit still applies though? (this is why I like to use F32 -- big partitions)

Re: Raven. A homemade Atari-like computer
I don't see any obvious technical reasons why it should. It's hooked in on the Gemdos layer, similar to Hatari Gemdos drive, and does raw disk access for sector read/writes.mikro wrote: 18 Oct 2026 06:00 Cool. But my current card didn't have anything larger than 2GiB to test with so I can't be sure until I've repartitioned it with a larger one.
And I can't really take credit for very much here..
The hard part is all thanks to FatFs library by ChaN and my bits are only the TOS and TSR side of things.

Does this overcome partition size limits in TOS as well? I'm thinking Falcon 1GB limit in particular.agranlund wrote: 17 Oct 2026 22:53 I like to use FAT32 partitions for Mint and MagiC but it always ends up a bit of a hassle not being able to access those from TOS - and I boot into plain TOS more often than the others.

Yeah it shouldn't care what limits TOS has on those FAT16 partitions that it can handle.CiH wrote: 18 Oct 2026 08:25Does this overcome partition size limits in TOS as well? FAT32 handling lives separately inside the TSR, intercepting Gemdos calls such as Fopen, Fread etc for the drive letters it has identified as being FAT32, and performs raw low level sector read/writes.
That said, I don't know if ACSI bus itself has some kind of 1GB technical limitation?
IDE should be fine, and I assume SCSI also.
These 2GB FAT32 partitions is working fine on TOS2.06 but I'll still need to test on larger ones and filled with GB's of stuff to make sure it's all fine.
