Well, it was my cousin who texted me advising that it was 'shut' already.

Im going out in a bit, but will try to ring the actual pub tomorrow and see if anyone answers.

I think a lot of (if not all) the Brewer's Fayre restaurants have closed as of the beginning of September...I vaguely recall them sending me a few emails over the past few months

I was of the impression that they had just closed to external walk-in customers, but were continuing to serve people who were staying at the hotels.

Different Premier Inn sites will have differing arrangements.
Some of them have closed the restaurants generally but are keeping them open at set times for breakfast for hotel guests only.
A few of the premier inns already have internal space setup for hotel guest breakfast etc.
Others have sold the brewers fayre, beefeater etc sites onto Wetherspoons and others to reopen as a general pub and may have reciprocal arrangements for hotel guests in the meantime.

It's best to talk to the Premier Inn site you are staying at specifically for the arrangements from now on. Don't ring the pub, ring the hotel you're staying at.
