Yes there is a colour test. I also reverted to original configuration to compare.

Colour test using Diag cart with Video DAC board in place:

How odd.. half looks like its not bright enough.. but doesn't explain odd colours getting mixed in...

maybe I have screwed up one of the RGB lines on the chip or something :shrug:

Also using DiagCart in original mode the background is blue with white text.

Using the Video DAC board the background is black with slightly yellow text.

I'll start to take a look. In the mean time here is the boot to desktop using the Video DAC board.

Is there any benefit from me duplicating the results at the mo? Or should I wait on assembling it?

I would build it, see if you have the same issues.. I mean maybe its a bad chip :shrug:
