Im wondering if there was any final update on this set of projects?

Would it be possible to get the final working variants of these adapters on PCBWays Shared Projects pages? Id certainly like to get some made?

All of tOri's projects can be found here. Just use google translate. Download gerbers, upload to pcbway, jlcpcb or whatever. You need to be able to program GALs though. But since you want shared project I guess you want pcbway to solder it up for you? It is very little stuff on it and I don't think they can program GAL chips for you?

Or did you mean Bikerbob's redesign?

Thanks, hrm, well, if GALs need to be programmed, then it becomes a larger fence to jump. I see there are pre-made solutions for this, namely.

Maybe its a better bet to just pay for one of these?

That is probably a more technological solution but the ICD AdSCSI Micro remake will be very cheap. Tiny, two layer board, 3*GALs + 2*74LS + 555 timer. I bet you could make one for under £10.
