Hi All,
As part of my continued down sizing efforts I am selling two of my three BBC Model B computers.
The first one is an issue 7 with 8271 and Acorn DFS fitted. Its in reasonable condition but with a small chip at the back right of the top case. They usually go here or at the front corners but the front is okay at the mo.
It boots up okay and does all the usual Beeb stuff you'd expect. Offers around £100 please plus postage. (photos to follow shortly).
The second beeb is an issue 3 with 8271 and ADFS but also has a sideways Ram/Rom board fitted. It's got 16K of sideways ram in 4 x 4816 chips but has room for another 12 chips by the looks. There are also 5 extra rom sockets (1 in use). This Beeb had a ram fault when I got it a while back with D4 having failed, so both D4 ram chips have been replaced and it's running and doing all the normal beeb stuff too. #BooBip This one I'd like to suggest offers around £140 because of the extra value of the sideways ram/rom board. (photos to follow).
Both Have had the two Rifa self destructing caps in the power supply removed and replaced, so hopefully no magic black smoke to escape from them any time soon.
