TF 1230 boot method?

Post by jes68000 »

In an effort to understand more about the TF 1230, what method does this accelerator design use to take over control from the A1200's
on-board 68ec020 processor? Companion question: is control permanent until system is reset?

Thanks so much

There is an 030 enabled jumper. the clue is there. When one CPU is active the other is disabled.

Thanks so much for that clue - a 030 enable jumper - just what I needed.

Also just found a document on github.com with many details:
Search for: "https://github.com/lvd2/A1200_trapdoor_docs"
The folder: ext_docs contains the kind of document that was hard to find, hope it is helpful to others
who are looking for how-things-work on the A1200 and expansion cards for the 150-pin trapdoor.
