Hello there, from The Netherlands here (Atari 8-bit)

Hello everyone,

I started with the Atari 8-bit in 1982 when I got an Atari 800XL with datarecorder (still have both of them).
First playing games on it then started buying magazines (Analog, Page6, etc.) and typing listings from it.
After that I dabbled myself in programming myself.

Through the years i came into possession of the Atari 600XL and Atari 800XE, which i also still have.
I am busy now to get serious again with my Atari's after using Altirra.

Planning to upgrade one of my machines with a VBXE, but don't know which one is the best to upgrade; the 800XL or the 800XE.
Looking also for a cheap way (at the moment) to connect the Atari to a modern television.

Also in possession of:
- Commodore 128, but don't know if it is working because i don't have a current for it
- Atari 2600Jr
- Atari Lynx 2 ; screen not working anymore, have to check still what is wrong with it
- Sega Megadrive, Mega CD & Master System adapter
- Sega Dreamcast
- SNES
- Playstation 1
- Playstation 2

Also thanks for uploading the motherboard images, we don't seem to have many of the 8-bit currently.

I took them apart this week and made photo's (also from the back) of them... i saw that the topic.....was empty; so sharing with the world
