Yes but I am playing with other projects. Finally got the Giant Panda to print a test print properly. @PhilC no more lumps of ABS popcorn :)exxos wrote: 21 Nov 2019 23:04 @Icky Its not even midnight yet, still a good 2-3 hours left in the day yet ;)

All the sockets are fitted. As you can see I am going for the SIMM slot version as I know the Falcon RAM board works in the ALPHA and want to test the SIMM slot.
Also as mentioned by @exxos be careful when soldering in the battery it goes in nicely but dont get solder across the other track that is missing the solder mask.

Well if there is something pointless to do, I might do it myself too ;)

I think I may of found the first minor issue. The XTAL around the YM and MFP chips sticks up around where the floppy drive goes. I placed a Gotek there to see if it will be a restriction but it depends on the floppy drive feet height.
Worst case will move the XTAL out the way.

Would that even be a problem? The floppy drive leg, minus the bottom foot portion, is around 18.4 mm, and the crystal, at least the one on the BOM, is only 13.46 mm tall. It'll be close, but it seems like it should fit okay.
