Re: REV H1 information and interest
Exxos, what is the minimum number of boards to pull the trigger on this thing? Is it still 40 @ 20 boards? You did miss denni505 on the prior thread. If its still a 20 board minimum we could divid it up and be done with it. Since there's 4 parties listed that's 5 a piece worst case. I'm sure there's others will be interested... RubberJ's always there for a challenge.. not to mention a few others. :?: :?: :?:
Second question, you sent out the video dac cards... was that v2 or v3.. i didn't build it because the output was flawless but will if it will prove anything and move us on. Please advise. :) :) :)

Re: REV H1 information and interest
I don't remember what versions I sent out... some did the V2 but there was patches, so I did the v3 which is the design I built into the rev H1.. So it needs testing really in case something is wrong.. Otherwise there might be no video output on the H1.
OK to overly simplify all this...
As for "MOQ" , there isn't one. As said with the alpha.. Price gets stupid under 10. So do people want to pay £100 a board, or less.. Quantity goes up and price goes down for everyone. So 10-20 is what I think is a more reasonable cost .
Though as more boards are done, postage goes up, and then import taxes goes go etc so there comes a point where more boards doesn't give further discounts. Its like 20% saving in PCB cost for more done, then 20% import taxes.
I will try and get some prices soon and see what the best value run is.

Re: REV H1 information and interest
Hi,
I'll gladly support another run.
As last time I don't want the actual board.
Have I missed the price?
But I'll support two boards :-)

Although I am sure my wife will kill me, I am in this time for one board as well :-)

Re: REV H1 information and interest
I’ll chime in and support this run with two boards (waited to long the last time, doh). Also I’d take two component kits (in case there will be any).
Also: big thanks to all the people who helped to make/debug the remake board btw. :)
