I have downloaded the zip from @mikro github ct60tos-1.03e but I'm confused exactly what is supposed to be going where.
There is flash.too which talks about flashing TOS then Updating the firmware, but there is no firmware I can find ? But the flash.too talks about updating TOS, but then there's a flash.tos folder ?!
I'm assuming to update the firmware there are supposed to be jed files ? But I can't find anyway. The history stops at 2005-07-13 1.03c so is 1.03e even in there ?
So can someone please explain how your supposed to update the thing ?
Can all registered uses please login, even just for a few minutes..
It helps build a picture where our "good traffic" is coming from..
Thanks :)

Flashing new CT60 103e ?
Re: Flashing new CT60 103e ?
Why don't you follow your own guide.
https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/CT60/flash.htm
Basically just run flash060.prg and select ct60tos.bin to flash. You can do it in either mode, run NVDI in 060 to be on the safe side.

Re: Flashing new CT60 103e ?
Because its unclear what is supposed to be done, like jed, flash, or both or something else.. most of that page is talking about updating the PLDs and I don't know exactly where the 103 related stuff is actually stored.mikro wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2026 12:18 am Why don't you follow your own guide.https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/CT60/flash.htm
So flash only then, thanks, ill try that tomorrow.Basically just run flash060.prg and select ct60tos.bin to flash. You can do it in either mode, run NVDI in 060 to be on the safe side.
So is that flashing patched TOS404 *and* the 103 stuff ? same file ? same flash ? or is that 103 numbering just for TOS updates ? Or is 103 a separate bootloader flash which just happens to also get flashed with another flash with TOS

ITS BRICKING TIME
I used the files from here https://github.com/insane-rabenauge/ct6 ... .05-insane as apparently they have more cool toys to break things with..
Lots of things to fiddle with at some point. Diagnostics is built in somewhere as well which is cool.
More to the point, NVDI does not crash anymore when it does TTram test, so great job there @mikro in fixing that bug alone.
Now back to my 68060 testing...

Re: Flashing new CT60 103e ?
I’ve tried flashing it too. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me. I do have a CT63, though. I’ve tried it in both modes (030/060).
Life is too short not to have an Amiga/Atari.
Re: Flashing new CT60 103e ?
From brain muscle only, if you purchased it from Centurion tech "recently" - I believe he might have used the wrong flash chips which would not work with the default tools. But you would have to check as I cannot exactly remember but I believe the wrong flash chips was the problem somewhere along the line... You probably should report it as a git issue, so it can be updated..kohli79 wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2026 3:09 pm I’ve tried flashing it too. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me. OK, thanks for the info – I didn’t know that. The CT63 isn’t new; I think I bought it in late 2023 or early 2024.exxos wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2026 3:23 pmFrom brain muscle only, if you purchased it from Centurion tech "recently" - I believe he might have used the wrong flash chips which would not work with the default tools. A thread on AF..kohli79 wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2026 3:29 pm OK, thanks for the info – I didn’t know that. The CT63 isn’t new; I think I bought it in late 2023 or early 2024.

Seems to suggest the same issue..
If you can access AF,may be worth reading the thread but sounds like it might have come up previously as well..Didn't Centuriontech switch back to the old flash chip once the problem was discovered? So I guess not all CT63r2022 are affected?
Re: Flashing new CT60 103e ?
Thanks, yes, I do have access to AF.
As everything’s working fine so far, the flashing isn’t really a problem for the time being.

Re: Flashing new CT60 103e ?
I wanted to add support for the other flash type but I lack hardware to test it. If you want to be my tester, drop me a message and I can look into it.kohli79 wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2026 12:31 am Thanks, yes, I do have access to AF.
