Wow that was fiddly.
First chip and board was an absolute mess with my shaky hands / fingers.
Second chip pinged out of my inverse tweezers and is to never be seen again in the Atari workshop.
Third and final attempt I got the board soldered ready to test the reset circuit.

Re: RESET circuit tweaks
It looks like we have a winner. It delays on power-on, resets and boots. On pressing the reset button also resets and boots.
Have cycled this 10 times on / off with 10 reset button presses between each power cycle to make sure
Need to replace U1 from LS05 to an LS07. As mentioned by Exxos this will effect the MIDI as U1 also is used there.
So the the circuit is as follows (lifted from datasheet)
Here is it plugged into the board in all its hackery. Wires go underneath and cross into pin 2 and 3.

Next will be the video DAC board, assume they coming Monday
I don't think there is much else left after that.. If you wanted a good challenge, I designed a IDE circuit like 2 years ago which needs building and testing. https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 371&p=2572

Re: RESET circuit tweaks
If we can get a reliable ide going, it can either go on the booster card (as it has a pld already) or it can have its own pld on the next stf board. It would be super cheap to add ide to a new MB.
