It needed a little tweaking. I'd forgotten one wall (not visible in those photos), the space left so as to slip over the interface case needed to be 1mm wider and, after offering up and testing with a real floppy drive and cable, I decided I could reduce the over all depth by 2.6 cm.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Yay!

The day before I'm due to take the SAAB up to SAABfest in Stoke on Trent I find a crack in the windscreen and it seems that all the big windscreen companies don't have appointments until late August or September.

I'm going to see if the pop-up windscreen repair place in the Tesco car park is still there.

I don't think they repair cracks? I have asked them lots of times in the past and even other companies if they could repair chips in my window and they always say they cannot repair them as they are too big :roll:

The crack is 1cm long... well within repairable size.

Anyway, thankfully Auto Windscreens have taken the job and will be here in about 10 minutes.

The Mk.II floppy interface case and "floppy hat"... Less deep and a number of flaws fixed.
