Everything's arrived and works.

I had issues with the controller pak as it showed up as "Unknown peripheral" until I cleaned the edge connector thoroughly.

I can't actually see any real difference in video quality between the HDMI adapter and composite video directly into the TV actually. :-)
I may remove the composite output bodge so as to make it look nicer, but I may not.

So, the console has:

Expansion Pak
Controller Pak
2x controllers
HDMI adapter
Summer Cart 64
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Well, one issue with the HDMI converter. When it switches to PAL60 mode the chroma is delayed by about a 10th of the screen width, so NTSC games have coloured ghosts to the right of the items that should be coloured.

At first I thought it may be ghosting due to the phono socket mod, so I removed them, but that didn't change anything.

Never mind.

That sounds interesting. What is it exactly?

It just doubles the memory. It's effectively just an RDRAM chip on a PCB in a case which plugs into a port on the top.
