Re: Fixing and upgrading an Enterprise 64
If you used PLA it may start to deform as that heatsink gets very toasty, above the PLA glass temperature. PET-G *may* have enough thermal headroom.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Fortunately I was already thinking the same and used PET-Gstephen_usher wrote: Thu Aug 06, 2026 4:44 pm If you used PLA it may start to deform as that heatsink gets very toasty, above the PLA glass temperature. PET-G *may* have enough thermal headroom.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: Fixing and upgrading an Enterprise 64
I've just got the floppy interface assembled.
next it's time to sort out the external floppy drive. It's a dual 3.5" drive that I also use on a QL. Just got to swap out one of the drives for a gotek and then we're good to go.
