Hmm, I know I had an acc that put the time up on the menu bar, I thought it was on the disk. Will need to think about where I may have put it.

How many people are interested in a kit ? Price will be about 25.. I may take some pre-orders for it as I don't want to invest in £12 a pop for a item for a stock item.

Back to the plot...
I will build up maybe 5 of these this week and give them a test.. Then I will add them to my store.. I am not going to keep a large stock of these because of the price of the chips. I have not currently got many PCBs made anyway..

Re: ST RTC EXTERNAL BETA - WIP
New chips from Farnell come... Still not having any luck...
The purple board was one of the older prototypes, that one was working until I changed the chip.. It hasn't worked since..
The middle one was the one I built up yesterday with the socket, I have not had this working at all yet..
The bottom one was the one I made up a few weeks ago which was working, until I change the chip, and it has not worked since.
Each of those boards as a new Farnell chip in it...So I do not know what the problem is :(

Re: ST RTC EXTERNAL BETA - WIP
Can you build the circuit on a breadboard to rule out any inconsistencies with PCBs?
And I know it's obvious but have you tried a different ST, in case its the ST that's killing the chips? Just a thought.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
