Atari Bhaji Welcome to the February issue of MyAtari. At the time of writing,
Shiuming and I have just enjoyed yet another one of our curry evenings. This time
we went to an old favourite in Wimbledon (near where the tennis tournament
is held) called Ahmed Tandoori.

Although we're both
extremely busy what with one
thing and another, I am pleased to say that we still manage to hold our
curry evenings on a fairly regular basis. We consider them to be almost unofficial board meetings - well, that is our excuse anyway - where we
take the opportunity to chat and debate ideas about the mag.
By having
these meetings in a relaxed social setting... I firmly believe that we are
more likely to come up with some truly fantastic ideas than if we sat on the
sofa drinking and playing Jaguar games.
Tonight we managed to thrash out
some interesting ideas which we will be following up and developing for
future issues - watch this space.
Of course, these
meetings are far from exclusive... any MyAtari reader is more than welcome to
join us for the next one! So, if you like curry, live local-ish to us (Surrey, UK) and would like to join us for the next MyAtari
unofficial board meeting, please get in touch!
Right, I'm off to
sleep it off.

Life begins
at issue 40 Make yourself
comfortable and enjoy the goodness we have in
store for February. Our first exclusive this month is a special
development report on the forthcoming Jaguar
game from Starcat Developments, Eerievale. It
boasts features never seen before in a
Jaguar game, and all those who saw its preview at
E-JagFest came away well impressed. Next, we
delve into the world of Duranik, two German
brothers with a knack for creating very polished
looking home-brew games, the latest being
the highly anticipated Alpine Games on the Lynx.
After recovering
from the shock of seeing Papyrus X at JagFest
Micro last November, we've got a detailed review
of it this issue by Thomas Wellicome.
