Falcon + FDI - Cubase MIDI timing issues

HI,
I've recently purchased a Falcon and Cubase audio. I'm also using a Multiclock as slave to sync DIN24 Roland gear and am seeing and hearing MIDI clock fluctuations.
For 120 BPM as an example, I see that the clock ever changes from 118.9 to 120.9 and if my sequence is based on 16th notes over Roland SH101, I hear the notes moving around the timing space.
This happens whenever I have my Soundpool SPDIF connected. It seems Cubase MIDI timing is then synced to FDI clock, which in turn does not properly work.
Once I disconnect the Soundpool, MIDI returns to be a rock solid timing machine.
Does anyone work with an FDI device connected to(be it Steinberg or Soundpool) and have good solid MIDI clock?
