Hello,

I am looking for data about the 7 pins, male, round power port of the Atari ST first model. It obviously is not a usual "DIN port".

Ideally a standard part datasheet with measurements for the footprint. (I already have measurement, but I would like it to know that it was a standard "pots" -parts on the shelf- of that time, and maybe still sold as NOS.)

When I built my replacement PSU for my 520ST, I just used a female 7 pin plug I got off ebay and trimmed the plastic shroud back, works perfectly.

The photo of the back show a brand "Singatron"

If there was an actual date sheet I might be able to track the actual part down and possibly even obtain some :shrug:

I did buy a stack of chassis mount connectors many years ago with the intention of building a new ST power supply but that idea got abandoned.

Ahh, actually I think I misunderstood. You wanted the part that attaches to the mainboard, not the plug that fits into it, sorry, my mistake.

no problem, there was a usefull tip for a connected (pun obviously intended :D) problem

The fact that it's called "DIN" like the usual DIN ports do not help... Either abusive use of "DIN" (because round and pin numbering and arrangement), or there is a spec number to know (like midi ports follows DIN 41524)

This here. I did the same and used a meanwell RT PSU to connect to a female 8 pin plug (I couldn't find a 7 pin one and just connected the lines I needed to).

Works like a charm
