Hello,

I am curious about the PALS used throughout the Mega STe to implement the various features that makes it "Mega" (especially 16Mhz mode, cache, fpu)

Some of these PALS have their sources availables in the "Atari HQ CD1", that's great :

• RSTBS.DOC: U002
• SYSCTL.DOC: U011
• CCTL.DOC: U012
• CLKCTL16.DOC: U407
• VME2.DOC: U904
• SCCCTL.DOC: UA03
• FPUCTL.DOC: UB01

But I do not find such reference material for the other PALS (U003, U006, U903 and UA02, if memory serves me right). To some extent, I can find out what are the input and output thanks to the schematics, but if someone has the formulas, that would be great to satisfy my curiosity.

BUT IIRC these were floating around the net and might not be final versions as I never got them to work right.

Thanks, although not human readable, the MSTE_UA2 file seems to designate one of the missing PALS, the 3 others seems already covered by what I have.

Could have been where they came from. I think those were the only ones which were ever found. Like I say, I think they were BETA versions or something as they were buggy.

My be an idea to upload stuff into the library section for future generations to puzzle over :lol:

I quicky saw equations U003 and U006 at page 5 :yay2: , and all the thread looks effectively promising... :coffee:

Idek (Nova Driver) has final all JED files work out with the right checksum ...

It was hard work from pakman and idek
