Water cooler gets a upgrade!

So brought a water cooler and after day 1 had to take it to bits. Girlfriend being a girl didn't understand the "reason" for doing it...
So added a pot to fiddle the temp sensor on the tank. It was cutting off at 15C, so wanted to tweak the sensor a bit to fool it into thinking the water was hotter than it was so it would cool it down some more.
While I was at it, needed a bigger fan... Faster fan.. louder fan... Now the thing purrrrrs
Trying to work out where all the bits go...
New fan connections.. Decided bodge tape wasn't viable as these wires run near the heatsink.
Circuit Board and fan assembly going back into place.
Pipes connected back up almost..
Trying to work out how to get the lid back on...
Trying to work out how to get the lid back on...
Still trying to work out how to get the lid back on...
Force the bloody thing down...
Nope...
Sometime later....
Up the rear view shot.
Pot added.. Nice long hard straight shaft..
..with a big knob...
Nothing like a big knob..
First test run.. Blue light still comes on, so progress..
Cut out some of the vents to increase airflow some more..
13Deg C.. progress...
The customary "left over screw" which doesn't seem to go anywhere...
All back together.. time for a fiddle with me big knob..
Some time later.. we have now 7degC ! Not bad at all. So now girlfriend hopefully knows why a good fiddle is good ;)
If left on long enough the cooler now spits out icecubes
