Just to confirm I don't have any emulation on the go. Just interested in physical ST. Also what does AES stand for?

Awesome! Thank you for that. I can created test setups with UltraSatan (Amazing device with PP Driver)
Can you direct me to that extractor? I found one for MSA files which allows me to create a floppy disk of the files but haven't found anything for ST files. Totally confused by all the formats and can't tell emulator extensions from actual atari ones. I even mistook MSA for a potential virus at first as that's a thing on windows.

I used steem emulator to do it. Yeah so many file formats its mad. I only know MSA and ST formats work in steem.

ST images, are actually generic, raw floppy sector images, same as IMG.
