Eagle libs - why you can't trust them

TQFP64 package.. Pads are not aligned correctly to device.. Just look at the overhang on the IC to the print out of the bads on the might hand side.
Its almost impossible to get the IC to "fit" that device as the whole package seems like 10% to small

That is really weird.
I've used the Eagle TQFP100 and that one was fine.
Same with the TQFP44 package.
TQFP64 has a pitch of 0.5mm center to center of pins. Pin width should be about 0.20 mm
proper dimension can be found in this doc :
http://pdf.datasheetcatalog.com/datashe ... 806_DS.pdf
Make sure you didn't copy it from the LQFT of plain QFP as apparently there could be some differences ( 0.8mm pitch instead of 0.5mm).

If you copied it from another lib in Eagle, make sure you took the TQFP64-10x10 one.

I used the one in the MC68K lib ...TQFP64
EDIT:
The 10x10 one is actually to small...

EDIT2:
Actually all the TQFP64 look like the exact same footprint, like its been copied/paste 100 times over various libs.. all are not correct

hmmm
This one seems a tiny larger
TQFP64-17X17 in renesas21

EDIT:
This one seems fine.. so will have to edit the 68K lib

That is really weird.
May be I should make a proper one.

I've got the SEC CPU already in a lib, just the pcb footprint is wrong.
