Out of Curiosity, a year ago it was mentioned CPLD price was $70. Have prices gone down/up/stayed the same since then?
They went up… the only way is up

Card is small and tidy, it would be easy to use it with Amiga 500 with adapter. Would A2000 to A500 be as simply as A500 to A2000 CPU slot adapter?
Size is about 10cm x 15cm

First a huge THANK YOU for your amazing work. I built myself a TF1260 (LC) and a TF1230 (no FPU ? I don't care :D ) and I absolutely love them.
I recently repaired an A2500 with bad battery leakage, had to replace CPU & redo some traces, it is now fine again. Unfortunately I got it without any CPU card, that is why I came across this post.
I have a 68040 from a dead Mac, a little time, a bunch of different revisions A2000 motherboards and enough skills to order, build, somehow debug and run boards, so if you need help in any way count me in !
Thanks again for all !!

G'day Stephen,
Could I please ask if this project is still alive?
Thank you.
Regards,
Matt.

Hiya Stephen
Just wanted to add myself to the list of very interested parties here and say I hope this accelerator will be realized, think I have about 6 040's laying around and an 040 is exactly what I want in my custom built A2000 Tower. I already have the TF536 and TF328 and they work wonders in respective machines.
First heard of this one from your talk on the Cave and later found this thread, really like the progress so far!
What are the main hurdles to overcome next?
Cheers and thanks for all your hard work.
Edit: This thing NEEDS an 040 ;)

I think this card is dead. Not likely to ever make it. The TF4060 will be my last amiga card unless i respin one of the older cards etc

Thank you for the update, and totally understandable if the TF4060 ends up being the last major project.
That said, a 68040/060 turbo for the Amiga 2000 could potentially enable many other turbo card options as well. Especially if it were designed for a 64-pin DIP socket (like the one used by the 68000 CPU), it could be installed directly in an A2000 and used via the many existing A2000 CPU slot adapters that support 64-pin DIP.
This is actually something no one else has done yet, and it might open up some unique possibilities for both new builds and retrofitting older machines.
