So a little bag of bits came through the letterbox:


And it was easy to see why the originals were bad with a weird button feel on one:


All installed now and the d-pad and buttons have a good feel to them again :)

I have, yes. According to the tracking it's in the UK so might be here for the weekend 😁

Saying that I have also ordered another set of joypad parts for the 2nd pad, and while they're not 100% necessary, I think it'll complete the restore nicely.
