Updated firmware today in Nessi (using the Raven JTAG connector), also updated the ROM to latest version using the Raven ROM programmer. Did this on both Raven 1 and 2. :)

Software updated as well so now have the ET4000/W32i memory interleave checked and active. :)

With regards to the PicoGUS, the current PGUSINIT.PRG does not work with the latest v3.1.0 firmware. Complains about incorrect protocol. Unsure if this has been updated yet. In fact, with the latest PicoGUS firmware, the ScummST games do not work with the Soundblaster option set. I reverted the PicoGUS back to v2.2.0 firmware and ScummST games are happy again.

In other news, I have 2 x ET4000/W32 cards (note no i after the W32). Both do not seem to work in my Raven. Unsure if they should or not? I have not tried them since the above updates were done.

So, I put the Picogus in my Amiga 4000TX with the A2286 bridgeboard, updated the firmware and gave the command pgusinit /mode sb /save.
I put it back in the Raven and it works by launching (or setting to AUTO) OPLMIDI.PRG
Except that only midi audio works in games, but sfx aren't played...for now ;)
Mxplay works.

Finally cased my second Raven board. It is now being shown off in a Thermaltake View 170 ARGB Tempered Glass Micro Case Black Edition. First Raven board is still uncased.

I think that calls for some photos? Please...

Ask and ye shall receive...

ET4000/W32i, PicoGUS v2.0, and network card plus a CF card adapter in the slots. Fan with heatsink on the CPU.

Photos have the case glass panels removed on the front and side. Fans are RGB but need to sort out powering the LEDs.

Power switch, reset switch and power LED are hooked up and are on the top of the case. Rear IO panel was made with 3D printer and cut out to fit the ports.

That looks awesome in the case!

I'm genuinely amazed by the number of machines built..
I expected only my own, or at most perhaps one more crazy person wanting to build my toy :)
It's all quite flattering and very cool.

You had a great idea, which I'm glad you shared. And I'm sure there's going to be a few more built yet.

Mine is making a great retro programming tool as I try and learn all that I've forgotten over the years.

Well done :D

Just waiting on a USB3 to USB adapter to connect the case USB sockets to the CKBD adapter.
