That Moomin in the picture looks like the happy modern version.
I remember the first cartoons with the felt cutout puppets...there was something definitely 'wrong' with those.
I can't describe what it was, but there was a distinct dark undertone to them shows.
Back on topic (ish). Its a big 'no' for me on that mouse. Someone would have to pay me money to use it. lol

There are lot more crazy prices on eBay, many from "Recommended Sellers".
And then you get this...

Note that it says "MTX"? Well, there's no MTX in that bundle, just the SDX unit and drive.

There was the same one in France, but called Alice (from Matra) and all red.

I think you told me that in a previous thread when we were discussing about Matra (if you remember).
Sure they can be eye candies, especially the Alice 90, but they were a real crap even in the 80's. Just google "Matra Alice games" to check by yourself.
The only plus was the Microsoft Basic, but Assembler was a must to programme "playable" games.
The first model, the Alice 16, was priced 1200 Francs in 1983 (around 1247 Euros), while the minimum monthly wage was around 3774 Francs at this time.
The Alice 32 was around 2500 Francs in 1984 (around 2597 Euros) and the Alice 90 cost was 2500 Francs in 1985. But Amstrad came with its CPCs and put an end to Matra.
Matra did not sell a lot of its stuff, as kids in the 80s were dreaming of more serious machines, such as Commodore 64 and Atari 800XL.
