as i said previously i do have some of them these can't be used, as it is turned on cards inside, not outside if installed correctly i can twist it around and solder to outside, but pin1 will not match correct position, this can lead to cpld damage, so only angled pin stripe can be used..

@8 Bit Dreams could you test this? How would it fit? If it fits I would be interested one. I don't have 3D printer currently, so printing support is not possible for me.

Hi all, my first post here, but rather an urgent matter. I just ordered TF536 from one of the Amibay users, unfortunately it doesn't fit CDTV case. The CPU itself is on a socket, which is an issue, the ide connector is pointing upwards, I've seen you had to mod it to right angled. Nevertheless, did you manage to fit the TF536 inside CDTV without drastic case mods?

There is a way to put it underneath motherboard, above memory card slot, but would require max 4 inch wire.

You can raise it up with another 68k socket (or two)... and it will fit in the CDTV. but with the 030 socketed the lit will not shut.

Relocator wich moves it to left (or towards a front of CDTV), right angled IDE and CPU soldered to PCP could solve problem. There is a even some screws wich could be used to make a 3D printed support to make it sit stedy, if relocator is used.

Relocator wich could move it about 1,5cm towards a front of CDTV would be enough. Or that it seems to me based picture on link above.

However there are options.

Guys, many thanks for the support, but I need clarification (asperger doesn't help).

In one post Steve says it doesn't fit, in the next one, it fits, but... and then down the line I understand we have confirmation it does with additional pinstrips, right angled IDE, etc.

I really like the board, the project and would like to have it fit, if I can please ask anyone who's done it to show a photo of how it sits inside the case. The chap who builds the boards said he can do no CPU socket and right angled IDE, question, is it really going to be enough. I have perfect condition CDTV unit, don't want to mod the case. Thanks
