Nearly forgot (I was ill last week) that my replacement cart arrived for the N64:


Works perfectly and in much the same way as all the other SD card solutions I have for the likes of NES, SNES, Megadrive etc. Pretty pleased with it I must say, very easy to use and very fast.

So is the N64 project complete now ?

It is. I have a 4Meg RAM cart, the SD cart and a memory cart in the controller. I have to say, I'm pretty happy with the Competition Pro controller, it works very well and has different levels of auto fire for every button. It turned out well, though I didn't have to do a lot.

And have you tried any of our game suggestions for any length of time?

With being ill I haven't played with it a lot, but that one did catch my eye whilst I was scrolling through. Trying to get caught up before I finish work for the year tomorrow, then I'm off to France for Christmas. Might have a good go tonight though as my wife is over at her Dad's.

It's currently running Ocarina of time in the background.
