@Bikerbob I managed to find what I needed thanks, and have attached a useful zip file containing MSTE_881.JED and a number of other useful MSTE JED files.
We welcome retro users & hardware gurus alike! Come and join the party :)

Kind of doing the fpu as I have one spare, and was going to do the HD floppy upgrade until I found it had one as stock.PaulJ wrote: 21 May 2020 19:26 So @rubber_jonnie , I put one in my MSTE a year and a half ago and have not found one thing that uses it. Since its memory mapped it appears nothing really takes advance of it. :(
Cool thanks ill take a look.frank.lukas wrote: 21 May 2020 19:55 I have a IDE Interface for the Atari Mega STE

Mine doesn't but I'm fitting one as soon as I get my GALs. I don't like the empty socket :), and it looks like mine is a later model, so it has a jumper rather than a resistor you have to cut off!PaulJ wrote: 21 May 2020 21:56Hey, maybe it has the math coprocessor.rubber_jonnie wrote: 21 May 2020 20:43

Like yourself when I received the MSTE I wanted to max it out which involved the MCP. It sits there now waiting for something to do but nothing ever shows. It does keep the dust out of the socket. The addition that makes the MSTE work for me is the Lightning card. I can easily download and upload files via the Ethernet and do transfers via the USB stick to H4 using the netusbee and the mega 4 using a lightning ST. So it would be nice to get the HD floppy running but its not a priority.rubber_jonnie wrote: 22 May 2020 09:27Mine doesn't but I'm fitting one as soon as I get my GALs. Yes, the lightning card does look very appealing, but it will have to wait a bit as I'm all spent out on the MSTE! An internal hard drive is a priority, but I can use the CosmosEx for the time being, and I have an external Gotek which is handy for moving files about.PaulJ wrote: 22 May 2020 14:06Like yourself when I received the MSTE I wanted to max it out which involved the MCP.
