That's a very good idea Steve !

But the problem is I do not have a 3D printer (due to space restrictions...) and I have never designed something to be honest.

I will try to find another solution though.

And some progress since my last post...

The original "rabbet" provided with the card fits nicely in the STE (you have to use double sided tape to keep it in place though).



Added a heatsink here, since this chip gets quite hot.



Normal VGA output (Monsterbo at 68020@40 MHz and Monsterbus @40 MHz):



And HDMI output at 800x600@256 colours:



Some artefacts are visible on the menu bar, but I guess it is due to the blitter, which is set to enabled.


I am currently booting from the ATW800/2 ROMs, but booting from the Monsterbo ROMs was not problematic at all.

I have now to fine tune my setup and check the Alt-ram settings (the Alt-ram is now disabled since the HDMI output is garbled when the Alt-ram is on).

OK, Alt-ram issues solved.

The ATW800/2 is set to 2 MB and the Alt-ram on the Monsterbo to 8 MB.

If you set the ATW800/2 to 4 MB, you can only have 2 MB of Alt-ram (more will create conflicts).
