Is there a specific SD card image you're going to use for the Pi?

I've not got as far as that yet but will happily share it when I do. I've also got a flamethrower coming too for the Amiga.

Did you mean Framethrower? I see it fits in the Denise socket like the RGB2HDMI but feeds the Pi with an FFC cable. A single HDMI output is nice but I see it doesn't have sound over HDMI ATM. Not an issue for me as I use external speakers, but if you want to use sound over HDMI is is a blocker. I may wait for it to be a bit more mature.

I don't think there is a Framethrower for the A1200 yet.

I'd be very interested to see if you can get this running on the ST Phil. IIRC @stephen_usher had a go, but it didnt quite work out.

I've had it working in my H5 rather reliably... I tried to get it working in my STe but I couldn't get it to work. You can try it out but you must remember it's nothing like the Amiga pistorm experience (which is literally copy/paste some files onto an SD card and BAM it works) This is the jarring part which puts most people off. You need Linux knowledge, how to SSH, edit files with vim/nano, download Githubs, edit config files... Not that I want to put people off, just saying what is involved. After getting the CPU emulator working properly, you can then go configure the Pi to automatically boot the CPU emulator (rather than SSH'ing in to start your Atari)

A big factor in the difference between Amiga vs Atari Pistorm is that the Amiga has a bare-metal CPU emulator called Emu68 which has a full-time lead developer, he's got it running so smooth and powerful many people prefer it to shelling out on a 68060. In Atari land we are using Musashi which isn't bare-metal (runs in a Linux OS, hence why more configuration is required) We have spoken to Michael the Emu68 developer about adding Atari support (which incidentally would also enable 68K Mac support) he has said that this could happen one day, but we haven't seen anything yet in that direction.

The ST Pistorm efforts have stalled unfortunately because there isn't anyone in the Atari community who can help @dad664npc :(

It was suggested to me that Musashi was not the best route for PiStrom on my Amigas, and I can't imagine it would be any better on the ST PiStorm.

Bare metal is definitely the way to go but in all honesty if there is no bare metal option for the ST it might be a bit of a bust.

If reminds me, I had the pistorm and Atari adapter board somewhere a while back. I just don't have the time for it, so I'd be looking to sell the stuff. Stuff is basically all new and don't think was even used.

Ok, I'll have to see when I get home.. But the PI and board + heatsinks likely ended up near 100.. But I'd accept 50 as its you ;)
