So I had to rope my big mouth and jinx it didn't I ! :pullhair:
I notice there was some very tiny gaps in the first layer of my prints. So I reduced the first layer width from 0.4mm to 0.35mm and it solved it.. BUT, now the print isn't sticking to the bed :roll:
I played around with the Z offset and seem to make any difference but it's almost like the filament is slipping and causing a erratic feed at times. Changing the temperatures all speed does not seem to have any effect.
So during a test last night, stop printing totally and I had to dismantle the head assembly to figure out why :roll:

So the filament has got stuck somewhere. I took the nozzle off and that was fine so it was actually stuck in the copper tube and it refused to budge!

So I clamped it up and gave it a gentle warming with the blowtorch...

And voilĂ ! It is now free !
If only things were that simple !! :lol: :roll:
Turns out when I had clamped what I thought was a solid metal piece actually add 3 holes for the tiniest screws you have ever seen!! Even more annoying is that they seem to have a tiny washer halfway down the thread which made it incredibly difficult to get it to fit through the holes which I had now squashed the grips :roll:
So with some careful metal bending, I did manage to get the whole thing back together again in the end..
So now I am back to the original problem :lol: :roll:
