Re: Recommendations - Atari Falcon with CT63

Just picking up on this thread.
I received my CT63 from CenturionTech last February, but have not been able to power it up properly. All three PSU's I have used will not power on my CT63 when using the momentary switch. They work fine when I short PS/ON on the socket, but I don't know how harmfull this is to the CT63. I already encountered some issues described https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.p ... 20#p461620
I discussed with CenturionTech, but they point to the forums, advising me to get help here.
I have tried:
PicoPSU 90
PicoPSU 120
Sweex 2050 20-pin ATX PSU
All have the same behavior when using the momentary switch: power led blinks on then off and fan starts to circle but immediately stops. I was told this is related to the PG signal that is not returned by the Falcon because the 3.3V and 5V do not ramp up in the correct sequence.
Two questions:
1) is manually shorting PS/ON harmful to my Falcon / CT63 / 68060?
If no, then fine: I have my solution for now.
If yes, then:
2) I need a working PSU for my CT63. Who can point me into the right direction to get one?
