For the future, it's better check facts before spreading bold statements (look at your resposnes even here in this thread). Imagine Exxos & guys wouldn't have noticed the Chinese original, your encouraging posts and assurances on various discussion forums would reach many unhappy buyers.

Depending on how openable the case is, it would certainly be interesting to know what exactly is inside that 3D printed case. Is it a RGB-to-VGA he's made himself, or is it something already available, popped into a new case?
Couple that with the fact that there are now serious doubts that this device will even work with any non-15kHz compatible display
I don't think there is much question about that. ;)
