So after sending the metal brack off to the metalwork guy who I used a few times before, now over 2 weeks has passed and radio silence from him. I'm starting to get annoyed now as been 2 weeks with no back or arms on my chair. Give him a few more days, but looks like I will have to try and guess what the original bracket was dimensions wise and look for someone else to make me one. That's more work and faffing about that I simply don't have time or patience for!
The foam place who supposed to be cutting me a chunk of foam for my van seat seem to have ghosted me as well. Used them once before was fine. I mean if they didn't want to do the job they could at least have the decency to get back to me. Not say they can do it then ghost me later.
My parts suppliers still not got back to me either. Long term customer spent tens of thousands with some of them ! That means for starters, I have no source of things like 030 CPUs yet again.
I even emailed another parts company in the UK. I think they tried to ring me when I was having my lunch. They never emailed me back and i'm not chasing companies anymore, so sod them as well ! For context, I want a record of the conversation as 30 seconds after putting the phone down I will have forgotten everything anyway. With all the suppliers I have to deal with , there's no way I can keep it all in my head.
Oh the fun of been constantly let down by people ! It's progressively getting harder and harder to get anything done whatsoever these days :roll:
