Hi,
Sorry guys, just came home from work..

blamed my damaged card, cause i was sure i am the only one who's card rejects to boot properly. Was sure this has something to do with card itself/relocator/ide/cf card, but now i see Alen has same pattern just like me, my card is booting 3 times from 10, once it's booted - it works stable, but most time power led is blinking, card does several reboots and then locks..have tested with EC030 40mhz CPU only, have also genuine caramic cpu removed from my Bluzzard 1230, will give it a try and report results

@Stephen what CPU was in Your burnt card? That one worked fine, as i remember, You stumbled on these errors after Your card was restored, right?

All the CPUs i've used are 68030RC50s. Gold ones. All the same mask.

The only one thats sulky is the one soldered in the breakout. Its odd because I demo'd the TF330 for a whole day at the Scottish Amiga Users meetup and didnt get a single crash. If the board doesnt boot first time give it a couple of CTRL-Amiga-Amiga's and see if that helps.

Well, i was thinking it starts to work after wiggling TF330 into riser, but then i just done some cold reboots, and card booted, so it isn't bad contact for sure..

Ok,
with genuine ceramic CPU no ram is detected!
Pressed reboot - and RAM is here!! That's annoying.... :?
Good news are my card is booting 8/10 with gold CPU, so it DOES make a difference to EC030 one!

Ah that is more useful feedback.

Does everyone get that? does a few reset cycles make it work?

Gold CPU runs more stable, card is booting 8/10 times (with EC030 it was opposite) can't find the pattern for non-working ram, it is here most time, but sometimes it boots with 0 RAM...
And this is pre-Alfa fw (the first one You've sent me) the latest from yesterday isn't working on my card at all.. :( (patchwires are added)

Does this mean You will need another Adapter for plastic cpu's? please don't kill me :P

No its definitely a firmware issue. The 0 ram means autoconfig didnt get reset by the reset lines. Which is odd.

Very strange, the plastic CPU runs better on mine.

My gold CPU mask is 1F91C (the latest one I believe).

I put the new firmware on yesterday and did not really try anything other than the CD drive which was hanging at the spinning cd logo with a CD32 game in the drive but it worked fine if I removed the TF330.

Last night before bed I put it on soak test with systest, and woke up to this pic below and the board was dead, no response, so did it kill the Ram chips ?, will swap out Ram later and see.

That is not good. Does the ram work with the old firmware?

EDIT: the reason I’m curious about dead ram is because of the bus buffer chips. With other versions of the same type of chip we’ve seen 5V leaking to the 3.3V side. @exxos was going to use those badgers in other projects... so keen to find out early if ram dies.
